CIS offer an Entry into the Uniformed Services Course accredited for both the post 19 age group, designed to introduce the candidates to working in the uniformed services. The course will develop candidates people skills and ability to work as part of a team as well as improving their written and verbal communication skills.

Successful candidates will be awarded the NCFE Level 2 Diploma for Entry into the Uniformed Services and be well prepared for application / entry into the uniformed services e.g. police, armed services, fire service, ambulance service.

• Investigating employment in the Uniformed Services
• Exploring aspects of physical fitness
• Team work and problem solving
• Health and Safety
• Map reading and navigation
• Following uniformed services routine
• Exploring aspects of telecommunications
